These two are jsut about the nicest couple you could ever meet! Candice and John met at a coffee shop that she worked at, she charged him for the coffee he was supposed to get for free so I guess she paid him back with a date. Great return on investment! I’m so excited to shoot their wedding down in KY next weekend, it’s going to be a very laid back party and I get to spend the day with some great friends. See you guys soon! -Nick

I’m a Star Wars nerd so I was excited for May Fourth for that and the fact that it was Veronica and Jeff’s wedding! These two were so excited to see each other! Their wedding party cheered for them when they saw each other at their first look. This shot was them taking their bow! I’ve known Veronica about 12 years, she and I worked at our previous jobs together. She had seen some of my wedding work one day way back when and told me I was going to do her wedding someday, and all she needed was the guy! She finally met him on Match, where I met my wife and I heard she kissed him first cause he was a little nervous. Glad she did cause this wedding was the shiztittle-bam-snip-snap-zappa! (from our work days!) They rented a super cool bus, she wore red shoes, they guys had printed suspenders and everyone had retro sunglasses – does it get any better?? I think Veronica said it best “BEST DAY EVER!” Thanks for having my Veronica and Jeff! It was a blast!! – Nick. Adrienne and Ryan met me at Webster St Market for a few fun shots for their E-Session before we headed over to their house. We hit a cool little wine shop where they love to have dates down near riverscape too. These two are so cute together, I loved seeing them laugh and giggle pretty much the whole session. Looking forward to August guys! See you then!! -Marci

What a Cutie! Annie’s Dad is in the Army and serves our country so I was more than happy to have him and His family in for a session in the studio on Me. He, like all the Soldiers I know is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Annie’s First Birthday is just around the corner so Mommy made a cake for the photos! It was hilarious seeing her dig into it, she loved it! Thanks Guys, I had a blast with you and Annie! Click here to view all the images. -Nick

This time 3 years ago I was getting dressed to do pics with the guys and writing Heather a note about how much I loved her. I didn’t know we were going to be where we are now with 2 kids (til a few days later when we found out we were having Alex
) but I can’t imagine being anywhere else and I’ve loved all the moments since even more. My favorite thing about being Heather‘s husband that day was being unsure of the future but sure of who I was going to spend it with. Now my favorite thing in the world is watching her be a wonderful Mom to Alex and our second baby to be. Love you Heather!

I get the pleasure of working with Gretchen and Josh this coming May. Gretchen’s friend Stephanie, who’s wedding we also shot, passed our name along to Gretchen. Though it did help she was in the wedding so she knows exactly what to expect from us! This was an awesome session in the first big snow we had for the year. Tipp City is a great place too, so much to work with! I love the old car, though Josh wasn’t a big fan. He got cut by some broken glass while he as being a gentleman and clearing a seat for Gretchen. Well the photos were worth it Josh, hope you’ve healed back to normal! See you guys again soon! Click here with you smartphone or iPad to download their custom app! -Nick
Julie and Will’s Christmas wedding in Cincinnati

These two are so cute together. The first time I talked with Julie was over the phone. I specifically remember her telling me: “We just want to enjoy ourselves and have fun!” I said that would be no problem with me! We had a blast playing croquet in Ault Park during their E-Session and we had just as much fun at the wedding. We started at Julie’s house in Mt Lookout a block from the Church and two blocks from the Reception. Certainly the shortest trips I’ve ever made to shoot. They had the perfect sign at the Redmoor to welcome their guests too. Their wedding was the 21st of December, the supposed Mayan End of the World date. So being the great cuple they are the made it into a joke and put “Julie and Will: The end of the world as we know it” on the sign – if that wasn’t just perfect for it I don’t know what would have been. It set the stage for a great night and fit them perfectly, they wanted to have fun and we certainly all did. Thanks Julie and Will! Marci and I had a blast and I know your guests did to! Thanks for a great day! – Nick

Courtney and Stephen in Dayton at Carrillon Park

What a cool couple! I was so glad that Courtney and Stephen picked us for their wedding. Not only are they just about the nicest people you could ever ask to work for they’re also a riot! Best comment of the day was from Stephen. We were shooting the two of them just after their first look, We asked Stephen for a quick kiss for Courtney, they did and Stephen kept going. I said “ok, thanks” he kept going “We got that one Steve!” I exclaimed to which he replied: “I got my own agenda!” That was classic! Blake and I were laughing about that one all day long. We had a ton of time with them and thier wedding party, which was great cuase we did have to deal with a little rain in the middle of the day. No bother at all though, we went to Ladder 11 and hung out with a few drinks. It was great to see them enjoy their time with their friends, Hecl we even enjoyed the time with them too! This was only the second wedding I’ve had on the bridge at Carrillon Park, which is suprising since I’m sure I’ve shot over 100 weddings there over the years! Great pick guys! Thanks for having us at the wedding, You and your frineds and family were amazing to work with! Now get to picking the album shots, I want one for the studio!! -Nick
