Hi!  I’m Nick.  I am an award winning wedding photographer based in Dayton, Ohio. I don’t like to brag but I am also a Husband to one beautiful lady, a Father to my three amazing boys, and a big camera geek.  I like to serve couples who care deeply about their pictures and who want a vibrant style of photography that also tells a story.  In other words, I want to make pictures that make your friends and families laugh and cry.  My goal is for you to have an amazing day, I will take care of the rest so you can really enjoy yourself!

20 years ago, I started 808 Studios Photography.  Just me, my awesome gear, and my passion.  At the time I had no idea 808 would become Ohio’s leading wedding photography studio in the industry, Being picked by the Knot for Best of list, and winning Album of the year three years straight.  But it didn’t stop there. Along the way I met other amazing artists who shared my vision and passion SO I brought them on to join the 808 team.  Now we are a small group of creative professionals who all enjoy carbs, Rasing Cane’s Chicken fingers and a crying mother of the bride. Together we have been published in several national blogs, magazines and won multiple awards, including my award for photographer of the year.

Personally, I love shooting weddings!  I think I was put here to do it, But I love making friends with my bride and grooms even more. That is truly one of the biggest perks for me!  So, once you hit the bottom of this page use the contact link and give me a shout!  I would love to hear all about your day!  Now I get to introduce you to my 808 family of amazing photographers!

Hello, my name is Charity and I am a romantic at heart. My favorite things are pretty heels, sandy beaches, and old books. In my spare time, I am a wedding photographer to the fabulous, an adventure enthusiast, and most importantly a mother of two brilliant kids.

I just love to capture the living, breathing, fast-moving phenomenon that is a wedding. It’s who I am. As an artist that aspires for the creative approach where photojournalism, fine art, and fashion editorial are all integrated organically. My goal is to be unobtrusive while documenting honest moments. The cameras are utilized to capture the extraordinary, emotional and inspirational from angles conceptually interesting and visually stunning. I photograph with the belief that process and collaboration should be as exciting and fun as the end result. I give thanks to God for all that I have. Let us capture your love story! Photography is about the only thing that can separate me from my family. My beautiful wife and I got married in 2010 after Graduating from Wright State University. We now have a son who we love to watch grow, and don’t like to miss any time with him! I am a huge Ohio State fan, love my family, friends and my Goldendoodle. I love to travel, especially to places I have never been, because it’s so much fun to photograph something as you see it for the first time. I have been very blessed in recent years to be able to travel to many places outside the US and see some amazing places in the world.

I have been shooting professionally for nearly 10 years, all of them with Nick here at 808 Studios. I have learned so much in my time shooting weddings and met some incredible people I am happy to call friends. I try not to take life too seriously and tend to be the jokester or funny guy in the bunch. When things need done and time is short, I buckle down and help work some magic to make sure we get amazing photos, but I like to keep things light-hearted and make people laugh and smile while we do it!

I love, more than anything, to spend quality time with my family. As a mother of three, I enjoy the organized chaos of repeatedly playing Disney movies, attending ballet lessons and soccer practices and drinking wine in the evenings. Second to being a mom, I also genuinely enjoy being a photographer. Not a single day have I ever felt like I am going to “work” when heading to a photo shoot. I’ve been shooting professionally for almost ten years, although I have always loved having a camera in my hand. Since I graduated from Wright State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, I have taken my interest in photography from a hobby to a profession and I am proud to say I’m following my dreams. Whether my subject be newborns or newlyweds, I love everything about it from the adrenaline that overcomes me prior to a session to the feeling of completion after the editing process. There is nothing more rewarding about being your photographer than the reaction on your face when you see your images for the first time. I, myself, find photos to be a priceless possession. They have the unequivocal power to bring you back to a particular moment, no matter how long ago it may be, and allow you to relive it again and again. I can’t imagine any other profession I would rather pursue than this one that I am so passionate about.

Becoming a photographer has given me a romantic view of everyday life, allowing me to see things in a refreshing way. When photographing a wedding, I enjoy capturing every moment, especially those beautiful details couples want to remember: from the delicate lace on their dresses to the hues of their bouquets. Finding natural beauty within every part of the day is my “job” and I love it.
I graduated Wright State University in 2016 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in photography. But don’t worry! I’ve been shooting way longer than that. I’m also a sports photographer and a high school senior photographer, and am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree through the Professional Photographers of America. In my down time, I enjoy reading, binge watching TV shows on Netflix, and spending time outdoors. I’m currently an aspiring kayaker and yoga enthusiast. I love to travel; my goal is to visit at least one new country every year. I’m super excited to be photographing for 808 Studios again this season and am looking forward to creating some amazing images!

Wesley Farnsworth – photographer – The Vet with hustle

I’m married to my beautiful wife Heather, and we have two wonderful children. In my free time I enjoy reading, graphic design, and just hiking through nature with my camera to see what I can capture. I served in the United States Air Force for 7 years as a military photographer which sparked my passion for the craft. During my time in I was fortunate to capture many incredible things such as the 2013 Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama and a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan. I’ve been doing photography professionally for the last 10 years and truly love what I do because it literally freezes times and provides people a tangible product to remember the special times of their lives.
