I’ve known Jenny since she was really Young, actually she’s been a Young ever since I met her. Her brother Brad is one of my best friends, best friends since, well, longer than I can remember! So you can imagine I was so stoked to get a call from her asking if I could shoot her wedding in Ft Meyers Beach in May – I couldn’t say yes fast enough! It was a bit of a drive, I picked up a truck tire on the way and a new found respect for anyone that has to drive on 75 in the south. :/ But it was just more time to think about what I wanted to do for them the day of. I was able to shoot them away from everyone else, even got to do their first look and all the photos of the two of them all by ourselves. I got to chauffeur them around, let them have fun, be in love and just capture it! While I loved every minute of shooting the two of them together my favorite part was when Jenny was walked down the aisle by her brother Brad. They lost their Father back in 2008 so to see them come down to the ceremony and hear Brad say “her Family and I” when the pastor asked who gives this bride to this man was a really heart felt moment. Then, in true Brad and Jen Dogg style, they high fived and started the ceremony. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more perfect walk down the aisle. Thanks a million times over Jenny and AJ, I was so honored and humbled to be there with you.
