I met Erica and Gerard at Allwood up in North Dayton last week for their E-Session. I haven’t been there in years and I was really nice to be there again, there aren’t too many nice places like that down near the studio. Best part of the session was acctually meeting both Erica and Gerard, we booked over email and phone conversations due to their busy schedules so putting a face with a name was great! Thanks for having fun with my guys! -Nick

I think this will be the one Eric is going to have as a 5×7 on his desk at work. Sarah you looked absolutely stunning!
I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for well over a year. In fact it’s been nearly 15 months since we did their E-Session up in Cleveland. While the weather was certainly different for the wedding (E-Session rained ALL day!) Sarah and Eric were still that amazing couple I first met at Ali and Jeff Wrights wedding back in June of 2010. You just have to love this couple, they are as nice and thoughtful as they come and went above and beyond for Blake and I to make us feel welcome. I was definitely shooting friends that day we laughed together, cried together ( but I’m just an emotional kinda guy)and just enjoyed the day together. It was a blast! One of our first stops was one of the coolest bridges I’ve ever seen. It had it all, great lighting bold colors and unique angles all it needed was a beautiful couple!
This is one of my favorites! Sarah is toasting to her Father along with her Brother and Mother. Sarahs Father passed away but before he passed left her a note, and a 1988 bottle of Dom Perignon that the family toasted him with. The note he left her was read that night at the reception by Jason and There wasn’t a dry eye in the whole ballroom, including mine. Even as I read this I’m laughing and crying thinking of that night as it was being read. It was hilarious, heart warming, thoughtful and FULL of love! While I know it wasn’t a replacement, it was as close as you could come to her Father being there to give Sarah a hug. That letter was easily one of the greatest moments I’ve ever been a part of in my 16 years as a wedding photographer. I hope I can love my son as much as your father loves you Sarah!
I am still just overjoyed that we got to spend such a wonderful day with you and your families. I haven’t enjoyed a wedding as yours in, well, about 2 years 😉 Thank you so much for your kindness and being so great to work with, it was all perfect! Was planning on Chicago for the rest of Brittany and David’s E-Session but it just wasn’t in the cards. Guess Cincy is a great alternate though cause these were great! See you guys in September! -Nick

Jim is an Oral Surgeon from Indiana who was looking for something a little different for some portraits for his upcoming website. I brought in some of his personality and and his favorite hobby, cycling. My favorite is the Cycling shot, love that it’s just in the middle of a parking lot at the church up the street!
