I joined Amanda and Zak out at Cox a little bit ago on a beatiful fall day. This was actually the first time I met Zak, Amanda came in and met with me by herself originally. But it ended up Zak used to work for the Dad of a great old friend of mine doing landscaping, Small world huh! Amanda and Zak are one of my December weddings, and I’m really looking forward to it. I just love shooting weddings in the winter! We;; see you in a few months Amanda and Zak! Can’t wait! -Nick

April and DJ met me at a wedding show months ago and I had been looking forward to working with them since we first talked. They are just such a fun and out going couple. They always have a smile on their faces and you can tell they just love life and being together is the icing on the cake. A few weeks back we met for their engagement session at Ault park in Cincy and they even brought their pooch for some added fun! Shame we have to wait so manymore months to work with them again!

Jessie and John were married at Cooper’s farm on August 29th and we were lucky enough to be there to do a PhotoGuestbook for them. John’s Mom met us at a wedding we had in May and asked us to keep it a surprise for Jessie and John and I think they really loved it! Their guests sure did! You know I usually get to meet my couples before I even book their wedding, I want them to get to know who I am as a person and I get to know who they are as a couple, but I didn’t get to meet Alexis and Patrick until the tuesday before their wedding. But when we met in person after talking for months on the phone it was almost like we were a few old pals out for a little tuesday afternoon shoot. And when the wedding rolled around the following Saturday I was just as excited to shoot for them as I was my own friends. They had everything expertly planned and everything just went perfect just like the weather. The lighting was perfect as we all sat down for a classic ceremony under the giant oak trees in the grass at the Patterson Homestead, and It was a very emotional ceremony full of family and glad tidings for such a loved couple. You knew they were out to party as soon as they arrived to the Taj Ma Garaj in Dayton and picked up your hotwheels place card next to the Chicago cubs tin. It certainly was a nite you just won’t forget with such a cute couple and two wonderful families. Best of luck Alexis and Patrick we hope to see you soon!
