We were lucky enough to shoot Kasey and Alex’s wedding last weekend in Dayton. We met Kasey when we photographed her sister Amanda’s wedding in October 2012. Amanda and Thomas were one of our all time favorite couples to work with so obvgiously I was super stoked when Kasey called to work with us. Kasey and Alex are so great together. They are so easy going and up for letting us do our thing that they even trudged though the deep snow and ice to shoot just about everywhere we went. They picked a great wedding party too, they were hilarious! Tehir families were as nice as can be, and their PhotoGuestbook was one of the largest we’ve ever done. So needless to say this will certainly be one of our favorites for 2014, It’s a shame we shot them so early! Thanks for a spectacular day Kasey and Alex, we loved working with you guys and can’t wait to do your album! -Nick Click here with your smartphone or mobile device to download their custom photo app. Click here to view all the images and comment to Facebook.

I’ve known Stephanie for about 8 years now and consider her a big sister so I was so excited when she came to us to shoot her wedding, and I love her and JT’s story. Who can honestly say they met the person they would marry in elementary school? Well Stephanie and JT can. Getting to shoot their wedding was a blast and Nick and I were so glad we could be involved. They built in plenty of time to drive around downtown in their party bus and and hit up some of our favorite locations and Stephanie was such a trooper, even when her dress got a little dirty. Honestly though, I think every bride should take after her and wear comfy shoes and a light dress. She easily jumped over piles of snow and over puddles with ease. We had a great time hanging out with them all day and we finally got to see the inside of St. John’s after shooting on the front doors for a few years. And luckily, the rain and snow held off with just enough time for us all to walk over to Top of the Market for a few more pictures and the reception. Thanks Steph and JT for letting Nick and I be a part of your special day! -Marci Click here from your tablet or smartphone to download their custom photo app! This was one of my most favortie weddings of all time! 18 years, well over 600 weddings I’ve shot and this one is right at the top. Jamie and Tim asked me to shoot their wedding in Brooklyn, NY right after they got engaged and by right after I mean: “hey Mom, I just got engaged! OK, I have to call Nick now!” I was so excited to be able to work for them on one of their most important days. The best part for me was their first look. Tim was just as emotional as I was at mine, that’s why I had her come to him, and with a backdrop of lower manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge how could it not be perfect. Since it was New York I had to get some graffiti in there and on the way back fromt he park we shot at I found the coolest grafiti I ever had for a wedding couple. Thanks a MILLION for having me come all the way to NY for you, Jamie & Tim. I was so completely honored that you wanted me to shoot for you and so happy to be with you on such an awesome day! -Nick Click here to view all the images.

I got to meet Katie though one of her best friends whos wedding I also shot back in 2012. I was really looking forward to their wedding ever since Katie told me about it. I don’t get to shoot many weddings at farms so I was looking forward to some different backgrounds and fun barn shots. Best part of the day was shooting around White Star Farm where they had the Ceremony and Reception, but my favorite images of the day were at sunset when we took them to a quiet spot away from the party for some alone time and some killler sunset shots. Thanks for an awesome day guys! Blake and I had a blast, looking forward to working on your album! -Nick Click here to view all the images and comment using Facebook.

Danielle and Mike are such a cool couple! They had lots of ideas for places to shoot and things they wanted which I loved. It was great to get a ton of snow a few days before then have a beautiful sunny day to shoot with them since everything we did was outside. My favorite part of the day was their first look, we had an awesome location to do it and their parents got to be there to see it too. We went to the Madison after a couple hours outside for the wedding (and to warm up!) and the reception which was just perfect. They did an awesome job decorating – loved their logo on the wall! Thanks for an awesome day guys! You were such a fun couple to shoot! -Nick Click here to view all the images. Click here from your mobile device to download their custom photo app!

I’ve been looking forward to Kelsey and Rob’s wedding ever since I talked with her Mom Kim back in August. She was a bit overwhelmed with the planning process and wanted to make it as perfect as it could be for Kelsey. I was glad I could help her out with the planning and recommend some vendors. I really love when the family helps out with the wedding planning, then I know it’s going to be a great wedding! Kelsey and Rob are a wonderful couple to shoot, they are laid back and pretty animated at the same time. I didn’t feel like I had to really give them direction. I was just able to let them be adorable together and push the button! Winter weddings are always a favorite too. I love the Christmas lights and trees they used to decorate with which became thoughtful gifts for Kelsey and Rob and Kelsey’s Brother and soon to be sister in law, Alex and Ashley. The Cold is most likely why she chose a sleeved wedding gown. I have to say I’ve seeen hundreds of gowns in my day and Kelsey’s is among my top favs. It was a perfect blend of modern and traditional, it was awesome. Best part of the night was shooting the two of them together outside the reception hall. It wasn’t as much time as we’re used to but we got amazing stuff because they just love to be together! Thanks Kelsey and Rob, and thanks to your families for making it such an awesome day!
